Sue who?

I’m a former public school teacher and writer/editor who now works full time as a trainer and web developer. Before entering the field of education, I worked for many years in and around Washington, DC. Having lived and worked alongside them, I’m both respectful and unimpressed with professional politicians and pundits. It turns out they have to wait in line to buy yogurt, too.

With a degree in Political Science and a wireless connection, I try to write from the heart on a variety of issues, including US politics, human rights, education, health care, the environment, hate crimes, religion, and home repair. According to FranIAm, I’m “Always passionate, never jingoistic.” Well, I try.

All are welcome to comment and discuss here. However, respect and acceptance of our differences are required. Personal insults or threats to anyone, or any other such foolishness, will not be tolerated.

Feel free to send me an email at pookyshoehorn at gmail.com, and unless you’re Nigerian royalty who wants me to hold your millions of dollars if only I’ll give you my bank account information, or you are the Irish Lottery Board,  I’ll probably respond.
