Friday Music Video: 1978 edition

Oh, if I knew in 1978 what I know now … but that’s a post for another day! Anyway, one of many things that I would never change from those days is that in 1978 I could often be found hanging out with my friends, listening to the Grateful Dead sing songs like “Bertha.” (You know who you are, my friends. Such pleasant memories of carefree days in Forest Grove ….)

Happy Friday! Enjoy!

  1. I love the dead… just something about them, the tunes just make you want to … um… wait, I have kids now.

    never mind.

  2. Heh heh heh.

Sara, you just have to be more discrete these days ….

That is, if I had any idea what you are referring to … ahem.

  3. I had a ’78 Green VW Camper Van that Jerry actually graced by sitting in the passenger seat after a Dead Concert at the Columbia Gorge in late 80’s. God, that was a hoot!

  4. I’ve never been a fan of the Dead. I guess I hung out with the “uncool” crowd. Darned nuns…they really know how to kill a party. 😉

    How ya doin’, kiddo?
